USING THE FORCE CONTROL SIGNAL

From firmware version REG 4.32 it is possible to use the Force Comfort signal on the Zones – Configuration zone / 2 in 3 different ways:

Entering the Zones page and the Configuration Zone / 3 a new column appears showing 3 options for each zone (Boost is not implemented, so it should be ignored):

  1. Force Comfort: if selected when the zone is in Economy mode from the timetable and the REG-IA1 contact (from the example), associated with the Force Comfort signal, is closed, the zone will go into Comfort bypassing the timetable. If the zone is force into Economy by display or remote control, it will instead remain in Economy. This signal only allows to bypass the Economy mode set by the timetable.

  2. Enable Circuit: if selected, the circuit associated with the zone in Configuration Zone / 1 will be activated only when the REG-IA1 contact is closed and not only when the zone output is in demand. This can be useful, for example, in this case: imagine the zone output that activates the radiant header, once the header is fully open, its limit switch closes on REG-IA1 (of the example) and it starts the associated circuit that, in turn, activates the source (heat pump) that, if it works directly on the radiant floor, will not have water flow problems.

  3. Enable Auxiliary: if selected, it enables the zone output only if the RT contact (Enable in Configuration Zone / 1) is closed and, in the same time, the Force Comfort is closed. Basically. the zone is activated with an AND of the digital signals without using the logic functions in Free Signals.
