Two passwords can be entered to block access to certain menus from the display of the REG-DIN-8 or the REG-DOT-B:

  • System settings password

  • System configuration password

The first allows to block the System settings menu from the REG-DIN-8 LCD display and the Home Page change on the REG-DOT-B (for more information, see the REG-DOT-B manual).

The second allows to block the System Configuration from the LCD display of the REG-DIN-8 and the Advanced Settings on the REG-DOT-B (for more information, see the REG-DOT-B manual).

The code to perform the update via the network has no currently function.

The access from RegConfig in any mode (via cable or via WEB) is not limited by these passwords in any way.
