DISPLAY TOUCH SCREEN

Up to 2 touch screen displays can be connected with the following combinations:

  • 2 X REG-DOT-B

  • 2 X REG-TFT (any civil series)

  • 1 X REG-DOT-B + 1 X REG-TFT (any civil series)

All displays always come out as display 1; however, it is possible to set them up as display 2: to see how, follow the instructions on the respective data sheet. It is always possible, once the display is switched to display 2, to switch it back to display 1.

Warning

If two displays are connected to the same REG and they are both display 1 or display 2, neither of them will communicate. If the displays are enabled on the REG-DIN-8 but not connected, the bus error TFT 1 and/or TFT 2 in Configuration 1 and the Error bus led on the REG-DIN-8 will light up (steady yellow).

BMS GATEWAYS

It is possible to connect to the REG-DIN-8 a gateway, allowing it to be managed by a third-party BMS via Modbus or KNX by installing the following codes:

  • REG-KNX

  • REG-MBS-ETH

  • REG-MBS-RTU

Modbus modules can be set to be seen by the REG, either as BMS Gateway or as a Touch 2. The KNX can be seen only as Touch 2: therefore, if present, the system cannot have more than one display.
