PAGE CONFIGURATION 2
Almost all the parameters present in the Configuration 2 page are linked to other pages (Zones, Circuits, Timetables and Dehumidifiers in particular) and will be dealt with directly in the those pages.
Below there are the settings that have no correlation with other pages/logics:
- PASSWORDS
- DATE AND TIME SETTING
- DISPLAY TOUCH SCREEN AND BMS GATEWAY ENABLING
- REMOTE CONTROL
- DOT DISPLAY NETWORK SETTINGS
PAGE ZONES
- INTRODUCTION TO ZONES
- ZONE ACTIVATION AND WORK MODE
- ZONE SET POINT AND SENSOR SETTING
- CONNECTED ZONES
- ZONES IN SPECIAL WORK MODE
- ZONES IN ANTIFREEZE MODE

- HOW DO ZONES AFFECT DEHUMIDIFIERS?

PAGE DEHUMIDIFIERS
The Dehumidifiers Page is very flexible and lends itself to managing dehumidification, but also the Integration (both pure and Fan Coil) and Controlled Mechanical Ventilation functions.
The REG system allows you to manage up to 8 "Dehumidifiers". In the documentation, to avoid ambiguity, it will be written Dehumidifier (with a capital D) to indicate the logical subsystem (the Dehumidifiers Page), and dehumidifier (with a lowercase d) to indicate a generic dehumidification device.

PAGE OPENTHERM
The Opentherm protocol was born with a very specific intention: to interface an "intelligent" thermostat with a boiler. By intelligent thermostat we mean a thermostat which, in addition to communicating the ON/OFF command to the boiler (for which a clean contact is sufficient), also communicates other information (temperature set point, operating times, DHW set point, etc.) and which can in turn receive information from the boiler (typically for diagnostics: water outlet temperature, error codes, etc.). The Opentherm protocol is therefore not strictly speaking a BUS, because it is designed to connect ONLY ONE MASTER DEVICE (role performed by the thermostat) to ONLY ONE SLAVE DEVICE (the boiler).
The other characteristics of the Opentherm protocol are:
- It uses a cable with only two wires, it does not require shielded or twisted wires, because it has been designed to recycle the cable previously used for a "stupid" thermostat (dry contact on/off); this is an advantage from the point of view of the installation, but it has an important side effect: the protocol is very slow, the amount of information exchanged per second is very low
- Unlike Modbus, in which each device implements its "own" registers, in the case of the Opentherm protocol the registers are "fixed", i.e. they are already decided and defined by the standard; each manufacturer has a large degree of freedom to decide WHICH registers to implement, but cannot modify their number.
In the case of the Reg System, through the REG-OTG and REG-OT4 modules a REG system can "replace" the role of the thermostat, and therefore become "MASTER" and give the boiler the required information. REG-OTG and REG-OT4 modules are NOT customized for each manufacturer, but normally work as they are. What can happen is that some information is not presented if the generator manufacturer has decided not to map it.
Warning: some producers write Opentherm on the documentation, but actually implement "their own version" of Opentherm, with some parameters not compliant with the standard; in this case our modules DO NOT work.

PAGE ELETTRA/SOLAR
The Elettra/Solar Page presents several options, but using the same part of the REG-DIN-8 memory it is possible to use only one of these at a time:
- EN_SOLARE TERMICO CON ACCUMULO
- EN_SOLARE TERMICO CON DUE ACCUMULI
- EN_GESTIONE PRODUTTORE ACS ISTANTANEA
PAGE FREE SIGNALS
Inside the RegConfig there is the Free Signals Page which includes various functions:
- EN_MISURE DI TEMPERATURE E SEGNALI LIBERI
- LOGIC/BOOLEAN FUNCTIONS
- MATH FUNCTIONS
