If, in Configuration 1, a digital contact (real or virtual) has been assigned to the Surplus Channel:

Within the DHW page, it is necessary to assign a priority chosen from the following:

• HIGH

• MEDIUM

• LOW

When the Surplus contact is active according to the assigned priority, the DHW subsystem is promoted from Economy to Comfort.

It is taken for granted that if you use this function, you should set a satisfactory Economy set point as the Comfort set point will only be used when the photovoltaic is producing and that under “normal” conditions the DHW should only work in Economy and Comfort when there is production or surplus from the photovoltaic.
