External enable signals can be configured directly in Configuration/1:

For more details on input configuration, see ANALOG AND DIGITAL INPUT MULTIPLEXER.

Heat/Cool enable channel

This parameter allows you to specify which digital input of the System is used as external signal for enabling the Heating and/or Cooling function.

If the enable signal is configured, it contributes, together with other factors, to the activation of the system (see SYSTEM ACTIVATION AND SEASONAL CHANGE).

System enable channel in Summer

This parameter allows you to specify which digital input of the System is used as external signal for enabling the system in cooling mode (summer).

Closing the contact also sets the system’s Current Season to Summer, and therefore the System will operate in Cooling mode.

If the Summer mode enable signal is configured, it contributes, together with other factors, to activate the system and determine the Current Season (see SYSTEM ACTIVATION AND SEASONAL CHANGE).

System enable channel in Winter

This parameter allows you to specify which digital input of the System is used as external signal for enabling the system in heating mode (winter).

Closing the contact also sets the system’s Current Season to Winter, and therefore the System will operate in Heating mode.

If the Winter mode enable signal is configured, it contributes, together with other factors, to activate the system and determine the Current Season, (see SYSTEM ACTIVATION AND SEASONAL CHANGE).

Select Season Channel

This signal allows you to specify which digital input of the System is used as external signal to determine the system’s Current Season.

If the Current Season selection signal is configured, it contributes, together with other factors, to determine the Current Season (see SYSTEM ACTIVATION AND SEASONAL CHANGE).
